Why do you enjoy this business?

Working in venture capital means that I am constantly in learning mode. There is always a new industry or technology to learn about and every day is different. It is incredibly exciting.

What do you think is the most challenging aspect of your job?

Catching the small details. Those are the ones that often tell you the most about the likely success of an entrepreneur or business. We come across a lot of great entrepreneurs and businesses with huge market opportunities, but the smaller, underlying details behind those individuals and teams are often what determine success.

What about the start-up process most interests you?

Interacting with amazing, talented entrepreneurs. These individuals have an opportunity to completely change a market, and maybe create a brand new one. Playing a small role in that is pretty cool.
